In 2013, I earned my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualification. In 2015, I graduated from the Victoria University of Wellington, NZ, Honours First Class, with my Master of Arts in Media Studies. I am now in the process of beginning a PhD in Melbourne where I will complete a thesis on art, aesthetics, history, and politics.
Experience
I am an experienced teacher and writer. I am a published author in both academic, peer-reviewed quarterlies as well as for various arts and literary journals. My ongoing experience ensures that you will have an up-to-date, bold teacher of not just the nuts and bolts of writing, but also with an emphasis on style and argument creation. I believe that everyone has a good writer inside of them and that teaching too often dictates without listening. Working together, I promise the development of a valuable life skill. I have spent one year teaching English in Korea to students from ages 5 to 16. I also spent one year at New Zealand primary schools tutoring students one-on-one.

Hobbies
I am an artist as well as being a writer, so much of my time is spent planning exhibitions, writing, and research. In my art, I work through philosophical approaches and critiques of technology, blending history, music, film theory and science fiction. I enjoy working in the studio making installations and video presentations. When not doing that, I am an avid cook, musician, tennis player and enjoy both film and reading.
