Education
I'm currently studying my Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Viola Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I have a Bachelor of Music Degree, and have completed my Grade 8 AMEB Viola exam. I teach classical viola and violin to all levels beginner - advanced.
Experience
I am a passionate and enthusiastic music teacher, and aim to unlock the musical potential in all of my students, inspiring them to progress and achieve their goals. My dedication to music extends into my lessons by using a blend of technical and musical tuition. I began playing the viola at the age of 8, and have been immersed in music ever since. I played the piano and sung in choirs throughout school, and have extensive music theory knowledge. I am currently very involved in chamber (string quartets, piano quartets, piano trios) and orchestral ensembles (University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), where I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with my peers, working in a team and playing a range of different music styles. In 2014, I performed a viola solo at the Melbourne Recital Centre, and was also the School Instrumental Music Captain for my house in the Performing Arts Festival.
