Education
After graduating high school, I went on to attend the University of Melbourne as an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Linguistics. In my first year of study, I took genetics and psychology as subjects and I took Chinese 9 in my second year, which is the second-highest level of Chinese study at my university. I am currently also completing Japanese and linguistics in my second year.
Experience
I have prior experience working as an English and maths tutor for 1 year. I would like to continue working as a tutor in order to gain more experience in education because I would like to be a teacher in the future. I have decent scores for the subjects I previously studied at university and excellent scores for my GCSEs. I think that teaching is a wonderful job that gives you the opportunity to help and guide people to find their own place in the working world.

Hobbies
My hobbies are reading, eating yummy food, swimming and singing. I like going to parks on sunny days and I love kids and animals. I am very interested in language and I know a few languages, and I am currently learning Japanese and Korean. I communicate well with young children having two younger sisters and helping them out with their work over the years. I aspire to be an English teacher or a primary school teacher in the future and hope that this opportunity will provide me some insightful experience. I often do volunteer work and enjoy doing volunteer work as it develops my interpersonal skills :)
