Education
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish philology and literature from The University of Barcelona and a master's degree in Spanish teaching for foreigners. Also, I took Spanish studies and communication at the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam.
Experience
I have 5 years' experience teaching Spanish to children in Barcelona schools and was a Spanish/literature tutor for 6 months in Amsterdam. Living overseas allowed me to help a wide range of learners become fluent speakers of my native language. I have helped many students improve their use of language and fluency. My teaching methods are dynamic and communicative. When tutoring, I can use my knowledge in Spanish grammar, literature (from ancient to contemporary texts), lexicology, and Spanish phonetics and phonology. I can cover topics in a student's Spanish 1/2/3/4 course, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, or AP Spanish Language. Also, I can help prepare students for the CLEP Spanish Language exam, offering practice with test questions and language skills to help them become more fluent and confident.
