Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia

Education

I graduated from Lauriston Girls' School in 2018 as a dux, with an IB Diploma score of 45. I will be studying for a Bachelor of Science on the Chancellor's Scholarship at the University of Melbourne.

Experience

I received a 45 out of 45 in IB, and am keen to share my advice, notes, and knowledge with other IB students. I achieved level 7's in Chemistry HL, Biology HL, Economics HL, Chinese B SL, English A Literature SL, and Maths SL. I'm happy to tutor IB Chemistry, Economics, and Biology at either Higher or Standard Levels, as well as Standard Level Maths and Chinese B. I am also happy to brainstorm ideas for and proofread your Extended Essay, as I received an A for my World Studies EE. As I have only just graduated a few years ago, I'm very familiar with the IB courses and have up-to-date notes. I can do regular weekly sessions, fortnightly sessions, and one-off sessions, depending on your individual needs. As a tutor, I encourage students to send me any questions or subtopics they're struggling with before our sessions, so we can make the most of our time. I'm also willing to help my students throughout the week when they need a little support. I provide PDF or Word doc copies of my notes during our first tutoring session. For IB English SL, I'm also happy to help out with the IOC and Paper 2, as long as we've studied the same works. I studied Carol Ann Duffy's poems, Othello, Sylvia Plath's poems, and Gwen Harwood's poems. I have comprehensive notes for all these works.
