I was a university lecturer in Cellular Biology and Molecular Biology. I served as a Content Learning Specialist for Pearson Publishing House, where I focused on physics, biology, and chemistry. I taught high school chemistry to students in years 11 and 12 following the Victorian Curriculum Examination. I am very passionate about communication and technological development. Across my career, I have worked extensively in research laboratories to study tissue engineering and biomedicine in the US and Australia. I am very passionate about science communication and technology development. Across my career I have worked extensively in research laboratories (tissue engineering and biomedicine) in the US and Australia. Lately I have changed careers to become and educator. I love the one-on-one interaction with students and seeing their growth in content knowledge and confidence over time. As a hobby, I love to run long distance and I try to do as many half marathons I can each year. I love dogs and hiking as well, so you can always find me planning a weekend long trip to any nearby mountain or nature reserve with my American Staffy Poppy!
