I am currently earning my master's degree in data science from the University of Melbourne. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Liverpool.
Experience
I have practiced tutoring multiple times during my undergraduate study. My enthusiasm towards teaching and positive feedback from students motivate me to continue tutoring. I participated in the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme from 2016 to 2017 at the University of Liverpool. My main job involved explaining the lecture notes and answering the questions as extra tutorial sessions for junior undergrad students. I was also a tutor in financial mathematics, where I assisted with the delivery of tutorials. I am very passionate about tutoring and teaching math, and as a student myself, I can deeply relate to the feeling of frustration when encountering obscure questions. I believe that tutoring is not just about solving problems. It is more of a way of teaching students to understand the underlying theories behind the problems. After all of these years of studies, I am more than willing to deliver that.
