Dr Ali E.

Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia

Education

I have my Ph.D. in mathematics.

Experience

Over the last two decades, I have enjoyed teaching mathematics. I taught at a few different high schools, and as a private tutor for groups and individual students. I've also been employed as a university academic. I have the experience to explain and simplify mathematical concepts to students in a manner that is easy to understand. Currently, I work as a tutor at the University of Melbourne. Because I do have a significant academic background studying mathematics, I can tutor math students of all ages and skill levels. Whether that be teaching primary or secondary school math, or tutoring university students in differential equations, geometry, and calculus I am happy to offer my assistance. Studying mathematics is important for many different career paths such as engineering or science, but it can also help you learn to think creatively and critically. A mathematical education trains you to recognize patterns and to analyze data, and working with a tutor is a great way to improve your understanding of core mathematical concepts.
