Hi everyone! Last year I graduated as joint dux of Camberwell Grammar School (99.95) and am looking for students to tutor, whether this be individually or in small groups. I am willing to travel to Doncaster, Box Hill and Camberwell libraries, and, because I study at UoM, the city on certain days. ENGLISH (raw 50, 2018) - I studied Frankenstein (analytical) and The Crucible / Year of Wonders (Comparative) - As a student who did not do English in Year 11 (did englang lmao) and started fresh in Year 12, in addition to having NOT read ANY of my texts, I can tell you the most efficient and timely methods for scoring high on your SACs and the exam rather than wasting your time with futile revision methods - I have a wide bank of high scoring practice essays and resources from both myself and high scoring students in previous years across all three sections of the exam - I have been tutored by a series of high scoring students and high ranking assessors, so I know tricks and tips which will make sure that your essay writing is on par with the board of examiners’ requirements - I have looked at many essays during the year and have gained a grip on how to accurately mark an essay — this will come in helpful when you submit essays to me and I give you a mark which you can rest assured will be accurately reflective of your SAC and exam performance - You can submit as many essays to me as you want over the internet and can ask questions through Facebook METHODS (raw 48, 2017) and SPECIALIST (raw 47, 2018) - I will make sure to value your time and aim for efficiency — rather than wasting time doing every single textbook question I will select the most useful for you, allowing us more time to target the questions which other students of the state struggle with, so you can acquire a well rounded and targeted understanding of the course - I have a seemingly unlimited bank of resources including practice SACs, VCAA questions sorted by topic, topic tests and of course practice exams extending almost to 2000. I will make SAC and exam revision resources which compile challenging questions from the top cohorts of Victoria - As your tutor, I am happy for you to contact me at any time between lessons on Facebook with regards to questions or concepts you are having trouble with LEGAL (raw 47, 2018) - As a student who is planning to study law postgraduate, I will transfer my passion for law into teaching this subject in a way that is interesting and engaging, while using revision methods which will not make you want to stick a pencil in your eye like many other ROTE-learning students - I have a series of useful notes, sample responses and resources both written by myself, high scoring students and assessors which will give you an unparalleled perspective on how to write well in your SACs and exams and to assert yourself as one who knows the content well - Maintaining a 98% sac average and losing few marks on the exam, I can help you practise how to minimise your mistakes and to match or even better my level of scrutiny during practice exams and in your final assessments - As your tutor, you can message me at any time you want for help with regards to any complex areas of law in the course, or any questions which you need help with
