Hi Apa kabar? O genki desu ka? Let me tell you a bit about myself in Bahasa Indonesia. Nama saya Glenda, saya tinggal di Melbourne. I'm a native Indo who loves learning foreign languages and cultures. I worked as a Japanese teacher at St kilda primary school, taught at an International school (IB-PYP) in Jakarta, taught Indonesian LOTE in East Malvern (IB-PYP) and taught ESL in Shanghai for a year. I am also a Business Studies tutor at Macleod College and an Indonesian teacher at CAE (Centre for Adult Education) in Flinders Lane. I've been working as an Indonesian teacher at Mitcham Primary School since 2011 My teaching style is holistic and I acknowledge different learning styles (auditory/visual/kinesthetic) and will adjust my teaching method according to your learning style. Moreover, I won't only teach you about the language, but also the culture and trivia facts that most Aussies don't know about Indonesia or Japan. My students think I'm very patient and my lessons are engaging as I always try to incorporate other interdisciplinary dimensions and ICT in every lesson. I have experience in teaching adults, teens and young children (classroom setting in Jakarta, Melbourne and Shanghai).
