Experience
3+ years of private tutoring for Biology. 3+ years of small group and medium class (25 students) tutoring for Biology. I have also delivered lectures on VCE Biology. My approach to tutoring focuses on understanding content, and then applying this information to different situations, as in exam-type scenarios. At times I supplement my lessons with questions and brief summaries to help consolidate learning. I am also available via e-mail for any questions outside of planned lessons for my regular students. I believe a large part of learning is actually learning how to learn. Because of this, I not only focus on tutoring the content of the subject, but also giving advice on how to study as efficiently as you can to better achieve a work-life balance.
