Hi there! My name’s Seb Hawke, and I have 5 years of experience tutoring 3/4 VCE English Language. I’m a very capable, experienced and friendly tutor, and I love being able to help students achieve and even surpass their study goals. I have extensive experience in a wide range of tutoring environments, from one-on-one sessions to whole-cohort lectures at high schools (including plenty of lessons over zoom in the past two years). My private tutoring aims to address all aspects of the 3/4 English Language course, from specific concepts and metalanguage areas to broader analytical and writing skills required to succeed in the final exam. I especially focus on SAC/exam preparation, and strongly tailor all my sessions to meet the individual student’s needs. Practice essays/exam-style questions are available too. I take pride in creating an environment where students always feel supported, and aim to foster a sense of self-belief in those I tutor. I believe in all my students, and want to do all I can to help each of them feel confident and succeed in achieving their goals. In my 3 years of tutoring experience I have had the privilege of working with students of all skill levels and ATAR goals, and in many cases have successfully tutored students to English Language scores above 40.
