Education
I completed my Bachelor of Creative Arts with an emphasis on English, Theatre, and Cinema Studies at La Trobe University. I also took units in Politics, Anthropology, History, and Gender Studies. I received Certificate IV in Small Business Management from RMIT. I earned my Post Graduate Diploma in Community Cultural Development with a minor in Community Arts from The University of Melbourne.
Experience
I tutored students for 5 years through an academic program. Over that time, I tutored dozens of students from primary to university levels. Most of my students were VCE students, though I have worked with a variety of students from socio-economically, culturally, and linguistically diverse backgrounds. I have worked casually for the History Teachers Association of Victoria and have written several articles published in the Australian Teachers of Media's magazines' Metro and Screen Education. I can tutor students in English, Literature, and Ethics to help them work towards their educational goals.
