I obtained my Bachelor of Education from the Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I attended Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, to earn my Master of Education.
Experience
I taught Indonesian, or Bahasa Indonesia, for 15 years. I also taught students of diverse backgrounds, from children to university students to NGO workers and researchers to diplomats. I am available to help students with TOEFL, ESL, ELL, and other foreign languages. I want to tutor because teaching has been so enjoyable for me. I enjoy teaching because I love to see my students growing and gaining knowledge and that's an extremely rewarding feeling. I also think that by teaching we can learn more about other people and ourselves. By sharing the knowledge I already have, I also gain a deeper understanding of my own culture and many more. Throughout each study session, I can offer feedback and advice that can help students build their proficiency more readily.
