Education
I have studied at the faculty of engineering at the Helwan University in Cairo majoring in Mathematics and mechanical engineering. This has allowed me to further my knowledge in the field of Mathematics giving me a deeper understanding and foundation to teach those who struggle in this field. I completed my high school education in Egypt, where the level of mathematics is above the Australian level on a large scale. Furthermore I achieved an equivalent score (Australian standards) in specialist Mathematics of 47 raw and a 49 in Mathematical methods raw.
Experience
I have taught my year 12 Mathematics classes when I was in still in year 12 and have tutored my university colleagues, allowing them to achieve the top scores. Similarly, I have also tutored my children who now have gone on to become a dental therapist and hygienist and a teacher themselves. I would like to teach students between the years 7 to 10 in classes/groups as I believe this allows students to learn from each other and develop their Mathematic abilities at a faster rate. However, I do still provide private lessons. I am able to provide my students with a great deal of material to ensure they have the opportunity to succeed and to prepare them for their final years in VCE.
