Education
In addition to being a VIT qualified teacher, I also have a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education from the Australian Catholic University which I completed in 2015. I also completed a CELTA at RMIT in 2013, prior to which I completed a master's degree in Humanities with honors from Universita Statale di Milano in 2012.
Experience
I am a fully qualified VIT teacher currently working as a Latin teacher at two high schools in the city of Melbourne. I have co-authored a Latin textbook that serves to prepare students for the first section of the Latin final examination. I have participated in the ACARA Validation workshop for the Australian curriculum for Latin. I created personalized lessons for all of my students, depending on their level and capacities, whether they are beginners, advanced, or anything in between. I have experience with both the Cambridge and Oxford Latin courses. I can focus on the translation of unseen Latin texts for the VCE Latin exam, or on the 'Aeneid' for VCE students, including theme analysis, translation, and scansion.
