Experience

I am an experienced English (ESL) and legal teacher/tutor. I've taught all levels of English since 1999. I've taught IELTS in university programs in Australia and China. I'm also an experienced IELTS examiner. I have extensive experience of in-company and law firm training. This includes leading global companies and law firms in both China and Australia. I've taught a range of core law subjects, in Australia and China This includes Law Foundation and Law of Commercial Contract subjects in joint programs between Australian and Chinese universities. I'm reasonably fluent in Mandarin and French, and have extensive experience teaching students from other Asian, European and Latin American countries. I've just returned from six months teaching and researching in China. I wish to arrange tutoring as flexible employment to fit in with my further studies. I'm available to tutor at my address in Thornbury, or anywhere in the Melbourne CBD or northern suburbs. At present I'm available any time, including evenings and weekends. I charge a flat rate of $40.00 for all types of teaching, plus $20.00 per extra student up to a total of four. Charges for larger classes are negotiable. I'm happy to arrange an initial meeting for free, to determine student requirements. I have an extensive range of teaching materials, both purchased and developed by me over several years. I can provide courses based on these materials over any time period. Classes can be tailored to individual/group needs.
