I have a Master of Arts in Teaching, Foreign Language Education (Spanish) from the University of Pittsburgh. While attending Duquesne University, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Corporate Communications.
Experience
I am an EAL/ESL/ELL/Spanish language tutor and have helped students at all ages and levels, in individual and group settings. A grade 9-12 Spanish teacher, I develop and implement personalized plans of study and specialize in language immersion, academic support and enrichment, conversation practice, business English, and exam preparation (Cambridge First, Advanced, and Proficiency; TOEFL). I can adapt lesson plans and assessments to a wide range of student needs and interests. As an English Language and Culture Assistant in Spain, I taught English to students in grades 9 and 10 and to adults. I also volunteered to help students with special needs.
