Currently hold Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) from the University of Melbourne, with a Major in Animal disease and biotechnology, honours completed in Veterinary Biosciences. Currently undertaking my PhD with the vet science faculty at University of Melbourne, with the Centre of Animal Biotechnology. My research is focused on utilizing large animal models for respiratory diseases (asthma, pulmonary fibrosis) to gain further insight to the disease mechanisms and as pre-clinical models for novel treatments
Experience
Have done tutoring for high school and primary school students Currently also do some demonstrating work in practical classes for various subjects run at the Vet science faculty for undergraduate students. I am easy to get along with and having not long come out of my undergraduate degree, I remember exactly what it was like and how stressful preparing for exams and assignments could be, so want to be able to help pass on some invaluable skills and lessons I have learnt over the years in tackling these challenges I have spent several years of working as nanny, with a range of ages and was part of Peer support and student leader program during high school

Hobbies
I have played netball for many years and currently play with a Monday night team at Clifton Hill. I also ride horses and participated in Pony club, competitions, HRCAV for many years. I play violin and during school , was part of orchestras. I also enjoy doing art and will spend my weekends working on pieces drawing classes at the Abbortsford convent
