Education
I am a current Victoria University Student and I am majoring in the Bachelor of Education (p-12) degree, and am hoping to become a secondary Mathematics teacher and minor in Psychological studies.
Experience
I have participated in tutoring high school students voluntarily at my home last year. As well as Primary School students. I achieved 84% for my midyear Mathematical Foundations exam last semester. This is equivalent to a "High Distinction" grade and involved topics that are mainly Specialist Mathematics based. This includes; use of the unit circle, calculus, integration, algebra, graphing parabolas, trigonometric functions, circles and ellipses. I studied both Specialist Mathematics and Mathematical Methods in high school, which I achieved high results for both and received a certificate of distinction in a 2008 Mathematics competition. I have excellent communication and organisational skills, computer literate and absolutely engage in teaching Mathematics to students younger than myself.
