I am a flexible, helpful, friendly and well-organised educational professional with more than 25 years of teaching experience. I have been working as a private tutor since 2007. I have an unparalleled ability to explain and analyse complicated concepts in an easily understandable manner. I have a talent for employing unique teaching strategies for effectively engaging all students and fostering an enjoyable and fascinating learning environment. My skills also include the encouraging and patient providing of individualised and extracurricular support for students that are struggling with learning concepts/language and analytical/mathematical topics. I am passionate about teaching. I enjoy teaching and helping others. With my vast teaching experience, I can identify the areas of difficulty for each student, work on them and help the students improve their problem-solving skills. I like helping students enjoy the learning process and making learning fun, providing them with motivation and guidance, helping them develop self-confidence and do their best, and helping them build a successful career beyond their time at school. I have worked with students from different backgrounds, including those from non-English speaking backgrounds and those requiring special needs. Subjects include: Arabic Language – All levels. Mechanical/Civil Engineering subjects (including solid mechanics, engineering materials, engineering mathematics, mechanics, etc.). Mathematics – year 3-12. Computers/IT/Computing, Numerical Analysis. Arabic tutoring: I teach all aspects of Arabic to all levels of learners from beginner to advanced. I have an excellent command of the Arabic language, being an Arabic native-speaker and having been teaching Arabic to learners from various professions and backgrounds. I have set up different Arabic course structures to suit the varying needs of the learners I have taught. These include doctors, age-care workers, journalists, business professionals, refugee advocates and university students, Arabic with Islamic content, Arabic for travel, and Arabic short courses. I have over 25 years of teaching experience and can adapt to the different needs of learners. I am friendly, helpful, patient and flexible. I can tailor the teaching program to suit the learner's specific needs. I'm confident of my extensive knowledge of the language and of my teaching style, and I'm proud that I've had so many satisfied clients. Hourly rate is $25 for a single session a week. Discount available for multiple sessions per week, and for groups. Please contact me for details. For Arabic learning, a 25% discount for 2 tutorials/week; and a 33% discount for 3 tutorials/week (based on a 2-hour tutorial).
