Education
I completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Griffith University specializing in Australian Environmental Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Media Communications from Southern Cross University. In addition to this, I have also completed a Graduate Diploma of Education specializing in Secondary Computer Science and English from Queensland University of Technology, and a Master of Education degree specializing in Management from the University of Sydney.
Experience
I have experience working as a secondary school teacher and have taught students at a variety of levels in a broad range of subjects. The subjects I have experience and expertise in include English for Year 7 HSC and VCE, Mathematics for Years 7 to 10, Science for Years 7 to 10, and Biology HSC for Years 11 and 12. In addition to these subjects I also teach Environmental and Earth science for Years 11 and 12, Information Technology for Year & HSC and VCE, Software Development for HSC and VCE, as well as Music HSC for Years 11 and 12. I can provide students with private and personalized tutoring sessions in these subjects and am able to cater to all their academic and learning support needs. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on.
