I am currently studying Junior Actuarial Science at the University of Melbourne, but I had to do well on a ton of tests to get where I am today. I earned an ATAR of 99.65, including a 50+ and a Premier's Award in VCE Further Mathematics, a 47 in VCE Specialist Mathematics, and a 44 in VCE Mathematical Methods. I also took VCE Chemistry, Physics, EAL, and Chinese First Language. Furthermore, I scored 2250 on my SAT and a perfect five on five different Advanced Placement examinations: Calculus BC, Chemistry, Physics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics. I also scored 109 on my TOEFL.
Experience
My name is Junyan Zhu and I want to help students of all ability levels prepare for standardized exams. I teach both academic knowledge and test-taking skills, ensuring that my students are prepared for anything that the exam throws at them. I also explain what the graders are looking for on each question, allowing students to get straight to the point on open-ended questions instead of providing superfluous detail.
