Experience
My career has included both public and private organisations working in the areas of education, financial reporting, workers compensation, public liability claims and banking. My roles as an educator have primarily been in secondary schools in Melbourne but also include tutoring first year accounting students at the University of Melbourne and teaching for one term in a British comprehensive school. I also work privately as a consultant showing people how to maintain their financial records and training them in the use of software that includes MYOB, Quickbooks and MS Excel. I am a current VIT registered teacher with an up to date working with children/criminal records check. I have experience teaching VCE to a wide range of students including international students with limited English language skills. I am adept at determining the areas of a course a student needs to gain a deeper understanding of and at developing the skills students need to perform at their best in an exam. I have a wide range to teaching techniques that are adopted according to the particular learning preferences/needs of a student. I offer a 10% discount for 5 or more sessions paid for in advance and if two or more students attend the one tutorial session (note, the more students in a group, the less like a tutorial the session becomes).
