Education
In 2013 I completed VCE at Vermont Secondary College, studying English Language, Maths Methods, Chemistry(47 study score), German and Music. In 2014 I will be undertaking a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne.
Experience
Having completed VCE with an ATAR of 98.35 in 2013, my knowledge of the content and awareness of the challenges that studies provide for students are still very apparent. Throughout secondary school I frequently engaged in group study sessions where I was able to help both high achieving and less academically skilled students succeed in Chemistry. Gaining a true understanding of concepts and their practice is something I find essentially important, something often overlooked in the hectic environment of the classroom. I intend to provide a focus on the larger concepts and an insight into the context of studies, which will hopefully lead to an appreciation of the content and facilitate independent, self directed learning.
