Education
Completed secondary education (VCE) at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School in 2013 (scoring an ATAR of 98.40). Currently studying at The University of Melbourne.
Experience
I completed my VCE in 2013, so my memory of the syllabus is fresh. My VCE studies included English, Maths Methods, Physics, Chemistry, Specialist Mathematics and Latin - I would be able to help any interested student in each of those areas. I would be able to provide advice (that I would love to have known early on in VCE), excellent notes, analyses of texts, and anything that would help my students excel in their endeavours. I am also willing to teach primary school students, as I believe that a good foundation is crucial for future academic success. Private tutoring is a completely different atmosphere from regular school classes- which can easily be detached and unproductive- and would provide the ideal environment and individual attention that bright young students need for development. Also, I have had firsthand experience with tutoring "schools", and am personally dubious about their effectiveness. Tutoring for me is one of the few part-time jobs that I would thoroughly enjoy. Teaching is fun, and I love people. There's not much else to it.
