Education
I completed VCE at Melbourne High School in 2013, achieving an ATAR of 97.55, including a 47 in Media, topping the class and winning the Media Prize, a 43 in English Language, a 42 in Australian History, earning the Australian History Prize, and a 41 in Revolutions. I accepted a Vice Chancellor's Scholarship at Swinburne University, where I completed my first year in a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television at Swinburne University. Although I loved the film aspect, I wanted to simultaneously pursue other interests, so I changed to a board Arts course at Monash University. I have achieved 3 High Distinctions and 1 Distinction so far.
Experience
I have tutored extensively since 2014, taking several students across the entire school year and some have carried across from year 9 to year 11. I have created study plans, prepared students for SACs and run exam-focused sessions. I have a large repertoire of material that I myself have prepared, and always identify and adapt to the needs of my students. I volunteered teacher at a disadvantaged school in the Kakadu National Park in 2011. While at the Melbourne High School, I developed and ran the Film Crew, a group with over 50 members in 2013. I enjoyed mentoring younger students and sharing my knowledge. I have studied the new study designs and am familiar with the new requirements. I take a great deal of pride in my work, preparing in depth material for my students. I understand that year 12 is a stressful time and seek not only to teach, but to support my students. I'm available to tutor in all aspects of film making and theory, as well as in editing and animation.
