Education
I have a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) from Belmont High School. While at the University of Melbourne, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in Chemistry there as well. I also have a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Warwick University.
Experience
I have 8 years of tutoring experience in high school and university subjects, privately, at Trinity College (University of Melbourne) and as a volunteer tutor at the River Nile Learning Centre. I have also worked for 4 years as a laboratory demonstrator in first- and second-year university chemistry subjects. My lessons are designed to help individual students gain the most out of our sessions. I can explain difficult concepts in a clear manner and also work alongside my students to help improve study techniques and prepare for exams. Oftentimes I use slides, practice exam questions, and worksheets for extra practice.
