Experience
I have successfully completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Science, Bachelor of Computer Science ,Bachelor of Education in Maths and Computer Science and GC in Migration Law and Practice . I hold a VIT registration and WWC. I taught in primary and secondary schools , for two years full-time and two years part-time while completing my Masters of Mathematical Science. I have worked with St Albans Secondary college and Victoria University Secondary College as a casual relief VCE Mathematics and Science teacher. Also, I am teaching with two tutoring organisations, Kip Macgrath and Ezymath. I am expert in teaching year 7 to 10 mathematics ,General Maths, VCE mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths and Further Maths. I have ample experience in preparing students for selective entry high school examinations and NAPLAN preparation. Over the course of my studies and teaching, I have obtained a sound understanding of analytical concepts and am able to explain these to students in a clear and simple way. I am able to stimulate interest in Maths by adopting a problem-solving approach that uses examples which students can relate to. My lessons are well-organised, disciplined and focus on successful learning outcomes. I have produced excellent results for my students in selective entry high school examinations where my students achieved superior level in mathematics, and high bands in NAPLAN and VCE. I am pleased to say that I have improved students’ marks significantly (from 35% to 95% in one case) in a short span of time. On average, my students are achieving in the 70 to 99% range. In addition, I have excellent skills in Microsoft Word (Excel, Access). I believe I am a reliable and enthusiastic teacher, dedicated to producing the best results for each student.
