I earned my undergraduate degree in architecture and graduate degrees in construction management and social sciences.
Experience
I have three years of tutoring experience. I currently tutor students of all ages who are struggling in the field of social sciences. I additional tutor high school and college students who are taking courses such as architectural design, eco-friendly design, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and more. Working with individual students gives me the opportunity to customize the content of our tutoring sessions to accommodate the individual student's learning needs in a more precise way than I would be able to do working with a classroom full of students. The pace of instruction and even the style of instruction can reflect the academic needs of the student which can help increase student engagement even when the topics are especially challenging. It also means I can spend more time answering specific questions that come up as we review material.
