Education
I have completed my Doctorate in Physical Chemistry in 2001 under Prof J White at the Institute for Advanced studies at ANU. Undergraduate B. Sc. Hons 1st class at UNE, Armidale 1997.
Experience
Worked at Uni of QLD until 2009. Spent a large amount of experimental time at various synchrotron and nuclear facilities in UK, USA Japan using radiation of X-Rays and neutrons to measure self assembled systems at the air-water interface. I was the group leader at UQ for a long period as the group leader had been seconded to the Australian Synchrotron. I spent a great deal of time mentoring and advising students leading to several publications. I have recently experienced a period of poor health and have been out of the workforce for several years. I am much recovered and still active in my field. I would enjoy the interaction of once again returning to some form of teaching role.
