Education
I earned my Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honors from the University of Queensland in 2002. I went on to earn my Master of Physiotherapy, with a focus on both Musculoskeletal and Sports, in 2013 from the University of Queensland in 2013.
Experience
I am an experienced tutor at the undergraduate, graduate, and master's levels. I am available to tutor students in specific courses including Sports Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Neurological Functional Assessment, Manual Handling and Practical Skills, Functional Anatomy, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and APC Equivalency Preparation. I have experience as a professional tutor for postgraduate Musculoskeletal master's students at two universities. I was also a clinical tutor with undergraduate student placements in public hospital outpatient departments. I have done private tutoring for undergraduate, postgraduate, and APC Equivalency. I also have 16 years of experience as a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist. I have worked in private practices, public hospitals, and organisations. I am particularly passionate about teaching Clinical Reasoning, Manual Therapy Assessment and Treatment Skills, and Therapeutic/ Physiotherapy Exercises. I am happy to help students with theoretical knowledge, practical assessment, treatment skills, patient interviewing and physical exam, OSCE, VIVA, and assignment preparation.
