Ella B.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
At the moment, I am a Melbourne University student currently completing a degree with a major in French and a high distinction for the subject. I completed my high school education at a selective entry school in Melbourne in 2014 where I received a raw study score of 48 in French.
Experience
Hello! I love studying and teaching a language because I get the opportunity to meet so many interesting people from a diverse range of backgrounds. I think being a second language speaker of French gives me an advantage when teaching it because I have also had to learn it, I understand what it is like to be in the shoes of my students. I have also completed a 2-month exchange in France. I have experience working with junior and senior students as a French tutor and I am currently tutoring students at the VCE level, and have seen big improvements in their marks.

Hobbies
I enjoy socialising, playing sport and public speaking. I am very friendly and approachable and I understand the varied needs of each student. I plan sessions around the strengths and weaknesses of my students and enjoy getting to know them to make exercises more engaging. Learning a second language has provided me with the opportunity to socialise with a greater range of people, improved my employment opportunities and enhanced my cultural awareness.
