I earned my graduate degree in computer science from the Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology.
Experience
I have more than twenty years of professional experience in the IT industry, including ten at Intel Corporation as a software engineer and research scientist where I also delivered lectures to interns. I have five published papers and have also been an invited lecturer at the Microsoft School for Software Verification. I currently tutor college students in the field of computer science. Some of the specific courses I help students with include software engineering, physics, Java, C++, and algorithms. Working with students in a one-on-one learning environment allows me to personalize the content of the sessions to more precisely fit the learning needs of the individual student. This means instead of teaching broad concepts of general importance, we can target only those topics that are proving challenging for the student in the moment. It also gives us the flexibility to redirect focus as needed and for the student to ask questions throughout the learning process.
