Experience
I have a bachelors degree from Central Saint Martins, the worlds most prestigious fashion and design school. I have worked in the USA, India and most recently in Melbourne. I am fluent in French and English, and received one of the top 5 scores in English Literature in the UK, at VCE level. For the past four years I have taught Textiles, Garment Construction, Pattern Making and Printmaking at Melbourne School of Fashion and at private studios in Melbourne, to students from 16 to mature age, at all levels and with English as a first or second language. I am the director of my own bridal label, and design wedding dresses that incorporate sustainable sourced fabrics that are fair trade whenever possible. I have loved teaching subjects I am passionate about and find the most rewarding aspect to be the improvement and growth in confidence of my students. I am non-judgmental, patient and enjoy getting to know each individual, and finding and working with their strengths.
