I earned my graduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I have worked as a mechanical design engineer and senior analysis engineer for the past three years. In India, I have taught calculus and I enjoy teaching mathematics in general. I currently tutor high school and college students in the field of mathematics. Some of the specific subjects I tutor include all levels of calculus and trigonometry. Mathematics tends to be challenging for many students, especially at the higher levels. Working with a personal tutor provides students with academic support that is both flexible and targeted. The flexibility comes from having the freedom to review material for as long as necessary to achieve the desired results. The targeted instruction is the result of being able to focus intently only on areas of academic concern rather than reviewing the entire course.
