Liam F.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I graduated from the Perth Modern School with an ATAR of 99.10. I am currently a first-year Biomedicine student at the University of Melbourne, with a breadth unit in Australian Politics and International politics.
Experience
I have been a tutor since 2011. I have an unscaled biology mark of 97.7% and a Chemistry mark of 87.9%. I earned a Physical Education Theory mark of approximately 92%. I love tutoring and helping other students work toward their goals. I believe that sometimes all a student needs is to hear a concept explained in a different way. Likewise, working with a patient tutor can help a student understand a concept more clearly. I'm willing to give students the time and support they need in order to work for their goals. I am able to adapt my instruction to the needs of each student, and I can help them focus on whatever skills or concepts are most relevant to their goals.

Hobbies
My hobbies include social/charity work, sports (rock climbing, swimming and running especially), reading and learning. I am particularly interested in immunology and how the body works, as well why the body works the way it does. I intend to study postgraduate medicine, do some work with Doctors Without Borders and to hopefully specialise in paediatrics or immunology, but I'm flexible with whatever opportunities come my way.
