I earned my undergraduate degree in science with a focus on environmental management, marine biology, and ecology from the University of Canberra. I earned an additional undergraduate degree in conservation and land management with honors from the Australian National University where my research was focused on the restoration of grassland habitat in the ACT.
Experience
I have instructional experience as a swim instructor, aspiration agent, and research assistant. My professional experience includes working with the Department of Environment and Climate Change, ACT Parks and Conservation Service, Greening Australia, and at the Royal Botanic Gardens. I have also worked in the Tembe Game Reserve in South Africa. I tutor high school and university students in the field of science. Some of the specific courses I tutor include chemistry, earth science, marine biology, ecology, evolutionary biology, agricultural science, zoology, and plant biology. I also work with students who are taking courses as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program such as AP Environmental Science.
