James M.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I graduated from high school at the Glasgow Academy where I was a straight-A student. I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. I won the Law Society of Scotland Schools Debating Competition and was a UK finalist in the Rotary Club's schools public speaking competition.
Experience
I've been tutoring for two years. I've tutored a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, biology, chemistry, and public speaking. I currently tutor high school and undergraduate students in mathematics and science. Some of the specific courses I tutor include genetics, trigonometry, statistics, all levels of algebra, biotechnology, cell biology, and endocrinology. Working with students individually is one of the best ways to provide them with the academic support they need to make efficient progress towards their learning goals. Regardless of what they need help with, it can be the focus of private tutoring sessions so that no time is wasted reviewing previously mastered concepts.
