Education

I recently and successfully completed a teacher training Italian language course L2 at Centro Studi Italiani [Center of Italian Studies] of Urbania, through which I acquired an advanced didactic method based on a scientific approach to engage the student’s mind. I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Urbino (Italy). Prior to the PhD, I graduated from the University of Bologna (Italy) with a three-years bachelor degree majoring in political science. I then completed a master’s degree in the same field at the University of Urbino with honors (summa cum laude).

Experience

I currently teach Italian through modern history of Italy at Co.As.It (Italian Assistance Association) and Italian for beguinners at Centre of Adult Education (CAE). During my travels as a visiting researcher in USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand I conducted private Italian language tuition for all age groups and purposes. Includining grammar usage and conversation, university and exams preparation, pronunciation, proofreading of thesis and academic articles, introduction to Italian history and culture, cuisine and travel information. In addition, during my PhD, I was requested to work as an assistant researcher and to design and conduct lectures, seminars and examinations on Sociology of Cultural processes, Modern History and Political Philosophy. I also supervised students of different levels in their research interests, provided advice to them in the completion of their written assignments. Moreover, during my master’s degree and PhD experiences at the University of Urbino I developed my abilities to research, write and publish articles, essays and reviews on different topics. I also recently published an article in an Italian national daily newspapers (il Manifesto).
