I earned a master's degree in TESOL from Trobe University Australian. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in education.
Experience
I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for 7 years at a high school in Bali. There, I work with teenagers, and I get along well with them. At the beginning of my career, I also taught kindergarten for several months. I love kids, but as I switched jobs, I moved to work with high school students. I also have one year of experience as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant in a university-level course. There, I taught my native language of Indonesian and served as a guest speaker for linguistics courses. This program was a prestigious non-degree Fulbright scholarship that was funded by the American government. In October of 2015, I taught Indonesian 2 at La Trobe University for a month, and since February of 2016, I have been teaching Indonesian for beginners at the University of Melbourne. In June 2016, I was also entrusted to join the University of Melbourne's team to teach in the Refreshment Program for Indonesian Teachers.
