I received my Bachelor of International Development from La Trobe University. I also spent a year studying political sciences abroad at the Lady Shri Ram Women's College, in New Delhi, India. And I studied teaching English as a foreign language at Chiang Mai University.
Experience
Over the past six years, I have had a lot of experience teaching English overseas, especially in India. During my travels in Asia and Europe, I did private tutoring and in India, I worked in a school as an English language teacher and curriculum developer. My experience includes working as an English teacher and private tutor, in Kolkata, India. I was also an English teacher, in Chiang Mai, and I also worked as a swimming teacher. I've received a number of awards such as the Study Abroad Academic Merit Scholarship, the Dean's Honour List Award, from La Trobe University, in 2012 and a Golden Key Society Invite, in 2012.

In the academic and professional realm I am interested in: Social Sciences, Community Development, Political Sciences, Hindi, French, Human Rights and Women's Empowerment My hobbies include: Swimming, West African Dance, Languages, Travel, Trekking, Writing, and Cooking (I am very much inspired by Yotam Ottolenghi at the moment!).
