I am currently in my second year as a History major at the University of Melbourne. I have a Certification IV in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Experience
I love teaching and working with adolescents, which I have been doing for six years through the Australian Army Cadets. I was a cadet myself and achieved the rank of Regimental Sergeant Major. I have since transitioned into an adult volunteer role. I also have one year of experience teaching General English and English for Academic Purposes to international students, and I achieved a study score of 41 in VCE English. My biggest passions are English and history, particularly 20th Century history. I have experience teaching English as a second language to international students, but I can also tutor students in drawing and English literature. I can also assist college students of any skill level with their college essays or entrance exams.
