Education
I have a Master of Architecture, Master of Project Management, and Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the Queensland University of Technology. My graduate research was on Adaptive Architecture and Identity for my architecture master's. My graduate research for my project management degree was on Global Creative Teams.
Experience
Currently, I am employed as a BIM Manager at a leading design firm. My role includes teaching new staff about the best practices, helping develop the company's Revit policy, and creating BIM libraries, families, and template files. In addition, I guide and review models and modeling strategies for each project. I am an affiliate member of the Australia Institute of Project Management. I view Revit modeling as a project and try to apply project management techniques to ensure I provide the most efficient and planned documentation. In all, I have been tutoring privately on and off for over two years.
