I earned my Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Environment from the Australian Maritime College. I have completed the 140-hour TEFL and TESOL course.
Experience
I work 1-on-1 with students in ESL, ELL, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, and English. I have experience teaching and tutoring courses directed toward teaching students English as a second language. As a private mentor, I can help students with advanced grammar skills, pronunciation, daily vocabulary, and more. We can get back to basics to fill in any learning gaps in their foundational knowledge, which can remove obstacles and help students learn more efficiently. Throughout each study session, we can work at a pace that suits my student's natural learning rate. I can introduce my students to a variety of different perspectives as we look at a concept from all sides. Once they are solid in their understanding, we can move on to applying the concept to a real-world scenario.
