I earned a Bachelor of Economics degree with Honors from Monash University, Clayton, and a Master of Commerce degree in Economics from Melbourne University.
Experience
I am a professional economist specializing in regulatory and competition economics who is currently working in a contracting capacity after many years with consulting firms and government regulators. My current working schedule as a contractor is very flexible, hence I have the capacity to tutor! My flexibility extends to days and evenings, and I'm happy to meet at a cafe, a library, your place, whatever works. I have quite a bit of tutoring experience - about four years while I was at uni. I have recently tutored someone in first-year Economics (in the MBA program at Deakin), which reminded me of how much I enjoyed it, hence why I am keen to tutor again. I am a bit of a sports and exercise fanatic - which I can indulge with my working flexibility. So I run, cycle, gym and tennis most weeks. Also enjoy reading quite widely, especially newspapers and long form articles on a diverse range of topics, as well as fiction novels. And I am a big fan of podcasts. I should also admit to being a life-long Essendon supporter. But I do not prescribe any supplementation to my students!
