Experience
A master painter - with expertise in the fields of photo realism, al fresco and conceptual art. After being a Highschool Art teacher for six years in Australia and England, I returned to RMIT University to complete a Masters of fine art in 2011, where I received a vice chancellors award for academic excellence. I also have several years experience with private tuition and running group based art classes and was a teacher last year at the Melbourne Studio of Art. I have constantly pushed the boundaries of my practice and have been involved in numerous collaborations, group and solo exhibitions. A life contributing to the arts has always been important to me - in the past I have established and run an art event and studio space, curated a number of exhibitions and been awarded residencies and fellowships at SKAM (Germany), Shangyuan Museum of Modern Art (China) and the Ucross Foundation (USA)

My areas of artistic specialization include Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Printmaking, I am also interested in Music and production, and play the guitar. I have produced over 10 albums. In my spare time I like to read and travel and have spent around 5 years living in other counties. I have a kitten 'Wednesday'; my faithful assistant and muse, who I found trapped inside my wall.
