I am working on an advanced diploma in Building Surveying, and I have previously completed a diploma in Building and Construction. I completed my HSC (the equivalent of the VCE) with French being one of my subsidiary subjects.
Experience
I have taught French mostly to close relatives and friends, and I wish to expand my contacts a bit. This is why I am starting a part-time job as a French tutor, something that is more like a hobby for me since I love explaining what French words mean and how they're spelled. French is the official language in my home country of Mauritius, but I still took classes at the Alliance Francaise when I was younger to expand my knowledge of the language. Going to high school where subjects are taught in English made it easier for me most of the time to translate words and expressions, which in turn has made it easier for me to teach French as a second language.
