Education
I graduated with Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (with distinction) from the University of New South Wales. I am currently working as a doctor but given that I have 10 years of experience in tutoring since I was a medical student and that I really enjoy tutoring, I am still currently tutoring.
Experience
I completed a semester of chemical engineering at the National University of Singapore. I also completed the Singapore GCE A-Levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, General Paper, and Chinese. I tutor approximately 15 students in Singapore, mostly in math but also science. I usually run my class by first figuring out the student's current knowledge in the particular subject, asking them what they don't know, and working step by step. I teach them the information they lack and provide practice homework as well. I want to be a tutor because I love math and would like to share my knowledge of math with others. I hope to be able to continue to share my joy for math with students in Australia. I am an enthusiastic, passionate, kind, and engaging but strict teacher. I tutor math at all levels, biology and chemistry.
