Experience

I have extensive experience in VCE English tutoring, having taught over 60 VCE students over the past eight years. I now work full-time as a lawyer, but can still tutor students as it is something I enjoy and am passionate about. I was an A+ student with a 47+ study score in English and an ATAR of 99.45. I also earned the VCE high achievers award. The students I have tutored have achieved high SAC scores across the year. I enjoy building productive working relationships with my students and adjusting my lessons according to the student's standards and goals. I have taught students of varying levels of ability and they all improved tremendously. I have confidence that I can guide students through every stage of their learning in English to achieve their own personal goals to the best of their ability. My passion and the results I have produced in the past both exemplify this.

Hobbies

I absolutely love reading and writing and have pursued the interest past my studies and work as an English tutor. I've written numerous short stories and have written a screenplay for a short-film that was produced and filmed in 2015 in Melbourne. I'm a down-to-earth guy who loves soccer, being outside in the sun and music. I've always enjoyed teaching, even in high school I would help my classmates and read and edit their essays. Most of my students now have been with me for 2+ years approaching Year 12. My biggest role models in life were all teachers and I strive to be more than a tutor, I try my best to also be a friend and role model. I was heavily influenced by the people who taught me English and I strive to have the same impact on my students.
